OMG! Since graduating, I told myself I would never again put myself through academic torture. So how have I changed in the last five years to sign up for a Masters of Science?
1. My health and moods; as a result of using natural supplementation and nutrition to heal from within.
2. My outlook on life has dramatically changed for the better as a result of applying healthy lifestyle tools.
3. My newly found self belief for personal happiness and success.
4. My visualization for where I want to be in five years from now applying the law of attraction
I remember straight after graduating with my Bachelors degree, I vowed to myself, never to go through any more academic torture. Back then my health was at its lowest; living like a student was playing havoc with my body. I was not eating right for my type, had adrenal exhaustion and had chronic IBS that ruled my life. In addition the heavy stress loads exacerbated my depression.
I look back and see that it was not only my self doubt that was holding me back; it was my body and internal organs that were struggling to function and as a consequence made me feel miserable on a daily basis. I was not functioning optimally and didn’t understand what feeling great really felt like.
Since treating the root cause of my health ailments with diagnostic testing and supplement protocols to allow my body to function optimally it’s as if I have suddenly realized my personal potential and my self doubt has disappeared.
It’s amazing how self doubt can hold you back from following your dreams as five years ago, I couldn’t think of anything worse than enduring more academic challenges. However, whilst recently speaking to my Award Leader back at University, I told him “can you believe I am starting my Masters” he replied “No, it doesn’t surprise me at all Sam; I knew you would do bigger and better things”.
The last five years have been life changing and I now look ahead at things that once seemed almost impossible; a rewarding career, a wonderful fiancé, a life without IBS and depression, a burst of daily energy and finally the belief that I am ready to further my knowledge and embark on a Masters. So it is official, I have been accepted by the Hawthorn University in the US, to start my Masters of Science in Holistic Nutrition in September 2007. I am so enthusiastic about the natural health movement and feel that we as members of the public are in a position to take health concerns into our own hands and research natural and alternative ways to find health. Therefore, I want to be able to give you the most up to date and scientifically proven ways to enhance health and happiness and most importantly prevent disease in the future.
I look forward to helping you soon!
