Having finally caught up with sleep lost from our wedding week, I am still struggling to get back into the swing of things back here in Bahrain! That's the trouble with going away, you get into holiday mode and need a big kick up the proverbial to get yourself going again. Plus the fact; I am out of my routine of exercising and haven't had to cook anything for the last month so find myself resorting to anything quick and easy to cook for my new husband which usually means not necessarily healthy!
Fortunately, I have a new schedule set up which is ready to start mid week. I
will be teaching at the new Fitness First Plus gym located at Bahrain World Trade Center.
Promised to be one of the latest and most up to date fitness locations of
Bahrain; Fitness First Plus has already an excellent reputation in Asia and has
taken over Dubai by storm.
Talking of which :-) here are the classes I will be teaching at Fitness First:
Sundays-
9am-10am - RPM (Indoor Cycling)
10am-11am - Body Balance (mixture of Tai Chi, Yoga, pilates)
6.30pm-7.30pm- Body Balance
Tuesdays-
7pm-8pm- Body Balance
Wednesdays -
9am-10am- RPM
10am-11am- Body Pump
11am-12pm - Body Balance
Thursdays-
10am 11am- Body Pump
11am-12pm- Body Balance
Hope to see you there!

Dear Samantha,
I am not sure, but I assume you are in Bahrain. If you are in Bahrain, I would appreciate it, if you kindly respond. I need to ask you something not related to you blog.
Thank you!

Hi Samantha,
I'll be arriving in Bahrain in October this year and was very happy to hear that Fitness First has opened. I am currently a member in David Lloyds in Portsmouth, and a self-confessed exercise junkie.... every day two hours :-)
I was disappointed to learn that Fitness First don't have body jam in their programme of classes - that's my favourite class, and I'm sure that it would prove to be very popular.
Any chance you could persuade the management in Bahrain to consider introducing body jam?
Many thanks, and I'm sure I'll meet you in October.
Best regards,
Sanya

great to hear you are moving to Bahrain, our island in the sun is a charming place and you will certainly enjoy it. Yes we are lucky to have Fitness first and I'm enjoying teaching BTS; FYI I have heard we most definitely will be bringing Jam here soon, it's just a case of when, so hopefully by the time you get here in October!!!
Here is an update to the classes I teach;
BODY PUMP - Monday nights 6pm Thursday mornings 9am
See you soon!

Hi,
Thank you for comments and finding my site. Please note that I am not affiliated with Fitness First Bahrain. I am a freelancer who teaches at the club. So I can't provide company information. However, I can give you their telephone number:
13322200.
Thanks Samantha!

Hi Samantha,
Just came across your info when searching for Fitness First in Bahrain. I'm also a bit of a gym junkie and I'm currently living in Hong Kong and am a member of PURE. They have awesome classes and by far my favourite is Bodypump - will you be teaching that too at FF?
Sorry, should have filled you in first - I'm Australian but usually based in Bahrain but are just living in Hong Kong until next year for my husbands work. We'll be returning to Bahrain sometime next year and was hoping there would be an improvement in the fitness clubs available in Bahrain since leaving Bahrain in 2007. And now I see that FF is open in BWTC - is that right? Do they have a website so I can check your schedule there?
Hope to meet you upon my return to Bahrain.

Hey Samantha,
I came across your blog while searching for a body combat class in Bahrain. It's unfortunate that you only teach the class at FF. I already have a membership at another gym and so can't afford another membership at FF. So is there any other gym that you have classes at that I can pay for the individual class or 10 classes in bulk in Bahrain?
Thanks.

Hi Samantha,
I am British and moving to Bahrain at the end of Nov for work and came across your blog.
Do you do personal training at FF?
I was a member of FF in London and thinking of joining FF in Bahrain.
If you do PT there have you ever trained anyone with PCOS (Polycystic Ovaries)
I'm looking for a trainer who is aware of it and how to train someone who has this condition
Many Thanks
